My career as a photojournalist took off under the neon lights of Las Vegas where I captured devastation to jubilation, presidents to pro athletes and many other things that happened in Vegas, but didn't stay in Vegas after the photos were published.
My journey began at the student newspaper at the University of Nevada, Las Vegas where I was Chief Photographer at the award-winning, Rebel Yell. Following school, I introduced my work to a worldwide audience through clients such as The Associated Press, European Pressphoto Agency, and Agencia EFE, the Spanish news wire, as well as Nevada's largest newspaper, the Las Vegas Review-Journal. My work has appeared in countless publications including Sports Illustrated, Outside Magazine, USA Today, The Guardian (UK), The Wall Street Journal, and many more.
An opportunity presented itself to relocate my base camp to the open road, traveling mostly between California and Colorado where I continue to use my documentary style to create story-telling content for local businesses, marketing agencies and tourism offices.
I believe in blending work with play so I'm often found with a camera in hand climbing mountains, riding a bicycle, snowboarding powder stashes, paddling a river, or going on a road trip with my rescue dog, Marley.
(I know you're going to choose the dog and I would too!)
